- The South East has the highest number of small charities in England and Wales, 18% of the overall total. This is followed closely by London 26,130, also with 18% of the total.
- The regions with the lowest proportion of small charities in England and Wales is the North East and Wales, with 3% and 5% respectively.
- Between 2015 – 2019, London-based small charities received over a fifth of the value of grants (21%) from the largest Independent Trusts and Foundations that reported their grants to 360 Giving.
