Overview
The Small Charities Coalition (SCC) was founded in 2008 to provide small charities with information, advice and support. The Coalition sadly closed on 31st March 2022. NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) has provided a home for the SCC Helpdesk and other key services. Read more about the transfer and what it means here.
We continue to hold data previously provided by SCC on this site. SCC defined ‘small charity’ as an organisation with a social purpose and an income under £1 million.
The Small Charities Coalition ran periodic surveys with members to help to create more of a shared understanding of the bigger policy issues facing small charities.
